I am very happy to report that Lee Napoli will re-open her retail confection shop, Chocolee Chocolates, at a new location on the corner of Dartmouth and Montgomery streets in the South End this Saturday, March 20 at 11:00 AM.
I am a big fan of of Lee's chocolates and treats, especially her salted caramels. So I think it is great that her delicious concoctions will once again be available.
As before, Lee’s artisinal chocolate truffles come in a mouth-watering variety of exotic flavors, enrobed in either milk and dark chocolate. Returning favorites like lemon curd, white chocolate-Chambord and spicy poblano chile are back, along with a dozen other varieties, made daily on the premises and priced at $48 per pound (one lb. equals about 32 pieces), or $2.50 per piece.
Lee’s warm chocolate beignets are also back; served on weekends only while the cool weather persists. These crispy, gooey treats are $7 for a bag of three, or $2.50 a piece.
Just in time for Easter, Espresso Bunnies ($3.50) will also hop into the display case this weekend. With their espresso bean ears and mocha marshmallow tails, these adorable chocolates come filled with your choice of espresso ganache, coconut cream, or white chocolate-raspberry.
Just in time for Mother’s Day, attractive new Chocolee gift boxes are now in stock, making it possible to order a custom selection in ¼, ½ and 1 lb. weights.
“High rent, scant foot traffic, staffing issues and a strong demand for wholesale product made it tough for me to continue operating my retail business on Pembroke Street,” said the affable Napoli. “Then the Haley House Bakery space became available, and I saw what an ideal spot this would be for selling upscale sweets.”

Richard, I totally agree. I was lucky enough to take a class Lee taught recently and she knows her stuff. Can't wait to stop by the new shop.

You really need to try those salted caramel chocolates. But you won't go wrong with anything you get there.
