Chef Peppino of Da Vinci Ristorante unveils “Peppino’s Gelateria,” a refreshing way to cool down as the city begins to heat up. Peppino has crafted a variety of unique and intriguing gelato flavors. Tantalize your taste buds with a starting selection of foie gras, avocado or balsamic vinegar. Da Vinci’s array of gelato expands to a refreshing selection of mint, basil, and rhubarb. Chef Peppino also invites guests to indulge in the sweet and decadent flavors of cinnamon apple, campari grapefruit and pistachio. Offered as a perfect pairing to any of Da Vinci’s seasonal selections, these savory gelato flavors are exceptional enough to stand on their own as well.

Chef Peppino has long been creating a special gelato each month, such as his savory Lobster Gelato, Beef Carpaccio with Celery Sorbetti and Shaved Parmiggiano and his Creamy Gorgonzola Gelato served on top of a Poached Pear. Other savory Gelato flavors have included Arugula and Basil. He now has expanded his gelato service, to offer numerous flavors each month.
