2) From October 30th to November 5th, The Tip Tap Room will be offering an array of delicious creations from Executive Chef Guillermo Guzman in celebration of Halloween and Día de los Muertos.

Originally from a small town in the State of Puebla, Mexico called Santiago Tetla, Chef Guzman often infuses Mexican flavoring into the dishes at The Tip Tap Room. With Día de los Muertos and Halloween approaching, Chef/Owner Brian Poe and Chef Guzman have collaborated to create a triage of mouthwatering dishes for the public to enjoy, each of which has a cocktail available for pairing.

The special menu begins with a Chicken Tortilla Soup Appetizer, featuring chipotle chicken simmering in a spicy broth, balanced by creamy Panela cheese, fresh avocado, and topped with crispy fried tortillas and is paired with the Salvia Hexia cocktail featuring tequila, honey, lemon, and sage. Following this will be a Wild Boar Chiles en Nogada entree; inspired by a traditional recipe from Puebla, this dish will feature roasted poblano peppers stuffed with cilantro braised wild boar, topped with a sauce of citrus crema, and garnished with Oaxaca cheese and pomegranate seeds.

Tip Tap will have two cocktails that perfectly compliment this dish: the Oaxacan Dead, a blend of mezcal, orange, Aztec chocolate, and angostura bitters or the Moda Antigua, an Old Fashioned with a Mexican flair.

Finally, to finish off this tasty trio, will be a classic Spanish dessert of Churros, accompanied by a duo of rich Mexican Chocolate and Caramel Flan dipping sauces. Take dessert up a notch by pairing it with the Güerito, a delicious mix of tequila, Kahlua, and horchata.

Inspired by his heritage and his own celebrations of Día de los Muertos, this menu will give customers a chance to experience the multi-day holiday celebrating those loved ones who have died. While it's a commemoration of the dead, the holiday is full of joy and love, as the living remember and honor their lost family and friends.
