I am back again with a new edition of Thursday Sips & Nibbles, my regular column where I highlight some interesting, upcoming food & drink events.

1) On Tuesday, December 31st, from 4pm to Midnight, in addition to the full dinner menu, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse will feature a special four-course prix-fixe New Year’s Eve menu.

2) On Tuesday December 31, for New Year’s Eve, Saltie Girl is offering a prix-fixe dinner and accepting reservations in their Private Dining Room. The last meal of 2019 is one to remember and starts with Oyster and Foie Gras, followed by a Butter Poached Alaskan King Crab with Santa Barbara uni, hollandaise and supreme osetra. Guests are then treated to Nantucket Bay Scallops with bacon, butternut, onion and parmesan Reggiano and a Milk Fed Veal Chop with a Butter Poached Lobster and liquid truffle ravioli.

Dinner is $125 and an additional $58 for a wine pairing. Call 617-267-0691 for a reservation.

3) On December 31, from 9pm-1am, for New Year's Eve, Time Out Market Boston is bringing the 2020 Electric Circus. It will celebrate the turn of a decade with interactive arts spanning 25,000 square feet in the heart of The Fenway neighborhood. DJ’s Noise Artistry and Char(7) will be spinning all night alongside various cirque and drag performances.

In addition to the exhilarating performance art, Time Out Market Boston’s chefs and restaurateurs will be serving one night only culinary creations from each of the eateries. When the ball drops at midnight, all guests will also receive a complimentary sparkling toast.

Tickets are $85/person, including full access to the market, all entertainment and a $50 Time Out Market Card to enjoy from any of the eateries and Time Out Market Boston’s two bars.
