All About Whiskey: From Scotch to Bourbon

Whiskey. Whisky. Uisge Beatha. Water of Life.

Whiskey is basically a distilled alcohol made from fermented grains, and generally aged in wooden barrrels. It is produced all over the world, from Scotland to Japan, from the U.S. to India, from France to Taiwan. There are a number of different varieties from blended whiskey to single malt, bourbon to rye whiskey. It is a fascinating alcohol with a rich history and has seen a significant resurgence in recent years.

I'm a whiskey lover, and enjoy exploring its diversity and learning more about all its aspects .I've visited bourbon distilleries in Kentucky and small, craft distilleries in a few different U.S. states, from Portland to New York. I've written numerous articles about whiskey and felt it would be very helpful to my readers to compile the links to those posts in a single place. This post will be that repository, and as such will be constantly updated when I write another whiskey article.

I hope you enjoy.
