1) Kane’s Donuts celebrates the holidays with their six December flavors of the month; Red Velvet Candy Cane, Gingerbread, Eggnog, and a Merry Christmas Donut, Gluten Free Chocolate Candy Kane, and Kane’s first vegan offering, the Vegan Snowball Donut, available beginning on December 1st through December 31st at all three Kane’s locations.

The Red Velvet Candy Cane Donut is a holiday classic at Kane’s, featuring a chocolatey, red velvet cake-style dough drenched in Kane’s signature honey-dip glaze and topped with light, fluffy vanilla cream frosting and crunched candy canes. The Gingerbread Donut is based on an old New England recipe that is heavy on comforting ginger. Studded with crystalized ginger and molasses for extra warmth, this cake-style donut is bathed in Kane’s honey-dip glaze and finished with a vanilla icing drizzle and a pinch of seasonal sprinkles. The Eggnog Donut is a cake-style donut made with Lawley’s Dark Rum, Pure Country Eggnog, and fresh ground nutmeg, then drenched in their signature honey glaze. The Merry Christmas Donut is a light, fluffy yeast-style donut with vanilla frosting and festively decorated.

Additionally, Kane’s will have the Gluten-Free Chocolate Candy Kane Donut, which is a decadent chocolate cake style donut topped with a fluffy vanilla frosting, sprinkled with crushed candy canes. This delicious donut is dairy, nut, and gluten-free. Kane’s also unveils their first ever Vegan Snowball Donut; a cake-style donut with fresh ground nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove rolled in snowy powdered sugar.

In addition, in honor of Hannukah, Kane's will prepare Sufganiyot donuts from Sunday, December 18th, through Monday, December 26th. Sufganiyot is a traditional cross between a beignet and a pillowy jelly donut and is eaten worldwide during the eight nights of Hannukah. It's said that fried treats are a good fit for a holiday focused on oil, commemorating the miracle of one night of oil lasting for eight.

This traditional holiday dessert is a black raspberry jelly-filled donut, with Kane's famous light yeast dough sprinkled with powdered sugar and an extra dollop of jelly on top. The donuts are available for pre-order by the dozen for $25 at Kane's Rt. 1, Lincoln Avenue, and Boston locations.

2) Tambo 22 has brought back their their Annual Holiday Toy Drive. This year they are accepting new, unwrapped toys for kids ages 2-14. They are offering a Free Dessert with the purchase of your meal to any of their customers who bring a toy (Limit 1 per party). All toys will be donated to Community Action Programs Inter-City, Inc (CAPICINC) serving families right in Chelsea. Tambo states, "Together we can make a difference and bring a smile to many this holiday!"
