Thursday Sips & Nibbles

I'm back again with a new edition of Sips & Nibbles, my regular column where I highlight some interesting, upcoming food and drink events. I hope everyone dines out safely, tips well and are nice to their servers.

1) Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and Kane’s Donuts has Pies to complete your Thanksgiving dinner this year. Customers can place orders in-store or online. Kane’s will be taking orders now until Sunday, November 20th. Items can be picked up from Friday, November 18th, until Wednesday, November 23rd.

Kane’s will be offering:
Pumpkin
Apple
Custard
Boston Cream Pie
Blueberry
Pecan
Lemon Meringue
Coconut Custard


And don't forget to pick up some donuts for your Thanksgiving table, bringing back a 100+ year old New England tradition

2) Grill 23, a famed Boston's steakhouse is once again bringing back their annual tradition of holiday lunch. The halls will be flawlessly decked with sumptuous holiday decorations matching the lunch menu with favorites that are only available during this holiday lunch season (such as WagyuLobster Bisque, New England Lobster Roll, Fried Calamari Fra Diavolo, Grill 23 Burger). 

The select dates for Grill 23's Holiday Lunch are Wednesday, December 14 - Friday, December 16 and Wednesday, December 21-Friday, December 23 from 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM.

3) This year friends and family can add a little spice to their Thanksgiving and gather at Rosa Mexicano. The Mexican cuisine restaurant is open for Thanksgiving and offering a menu featuring traditional turkey day fixings. Guests can dine at the restaurant, or enjoy their Thanksgiving meal via delivery and take out.

Menu details:
Entrée $38
PAVO ADOBADO: Ancho chile roasted turkey with a choice of mole poblano or traditional gravy.
Served with cranberry salsa, sweet plantain-huitlacoche stuffing, Mexican potatoes, and roasted fall vegetables.
Dessert $8
Calabaza (pumpkin) pie with whipped cream
Manzana (apple) pie with vanilla ice cream
