Boston Wine School: Wine Writer's Workshop

This past summer, I attended the Wine Writer's Workshop held by Jonathon Alsop at the Boston Wine School. It was an excellent workshop and well worth attending. Now, Jonathon has scheduled another such workship.

The Wine Writer's Workshop will be held from January 26 to March 2, on six consecutive Monday evenings, from 6:30pm-9:00pm. "Whether you're a writer who wants to expand into wine and food, or a writer who's just getting started, this class will help you organize your ideas and focus your efforts. If you've always dreamt of writing about wine and food, you owe it to yourself to devote Monday nights to making that dream come true." The workshop costs $150 and you can register here.

I recommend this workshop to all local wine writers and bloggers. Jonathon is an engaging instructor and it is also a good networking opportunity.

You should also check out the Boston Wine School website as Jonathon has posted the preliminary schedule for his classes through March 2009. You will find classes such as Wine 101: Wine Tasting for the Complete Novice, Burgers & Bordeaux, and Seven Deadly Zins.
