Da Vinci Ristorante: $5 and Under Fall Bar Menu

Da Vinci Ristorante has just unveiled their new fall bar menu, available nightly, featuring seasonal small plates and “Peppino’s Pasta Pairings.” Chef Peppino’s signature dishes are available in small orders, giving guests the chance to taste many of his savory fall creations, at a low price of $5 and under. These dishes are affordable, light tastings, giving everyone the chance to come in and enjoy Da Vinci’s stylish and intimate atmosphere.

Fall small plate items include:

Vinegar Eggplant ($3)
Extra virgin olive oil and garlic

Prosciutto and Asparagus ($3)
Drizzled with scallion vinaigrette

Duck Confit Cigars ($3)
With cumin green apple chutney

Peppino’s French Fries ($4)
Parmiggiano cheese and white truffle oil

Organic Green Salad ($4)
Pinenuts and fried goat cheese

Peppino’s Pasta Pairings” are priced so the more you taste, the more you save. The first pasta choice is available for $5; to select two pastas, $9; three pastas, $12; to taste all four of Peppino’s pastas, $14. Choices include fall favorites mixed with the classics:

Butternut Squash Agnolotti
Finished with a brown butter sage sauce

Short Rib Ravioli
Served with perconino cheese in a veal demi glaze balsamic vinegar

Fusilli Bolognese
With classic meat sauce (available spicy)

Gnocchi alla Sorrentina
With fresh tomato basil sauce and buffalo mozzarella

All pastas are made fresh daily in Peppino’s kitchen

I LOVE Duck Confit, but what's a Duck Confit Cigar? Is it smoked? ;)

I have no clue what it is. I assume it is just duck confit shaped to look like a cigar. I hopefully will return there soon and can then tell you.
