September: A Busy Wine & Food Month

September begins tomorrow and ushers in a month full of special wine and food events. So, check your calendars and mark down those events that appeal to you. You can see a full list at the bottom of this page and I will highlight some of them here.

The North Shore Winers will be attending the following events. Join up with us and come to these special tastings.

Sept.15: Unusual Wines. 1-4pm. Free tasting of over 50 wines made from unusual grapes. Gordon's Fine Wines & Liquors, 894 Main St., Waltham, MA,

Sept. 29: Grand Fall Tasting. Starts at 3pm. Free tasting of over 50 wines. OurGlass Wine Co., 124 Broadway, Rt.1N, Saugus

There are a couple of Food Events I want to mention as well.

Sept.23: Phantom Gourmet Fall Food Festival. From 11am-4pm. Over fifty food vendors plus entrance to several parties. Tickets $40. Lansdowne & Ipswich Streets, Boston. Near Fenway Park.
